We had a "Back to School!" Party for dakota tonight. He started school yesterday! anyhow we had fun we had a pizza and ice cream party. Enjoy!!!

Heidi- again... writing I will be posting pictures of Dakota's first day of school! that was today!

Dakota started his 2nd and last year of preschool today at David Gourley Elementary- it's not far from where they live. We are so proud and excited for Dakota- we know he will love his class and teacher and school! Next year he takes "The big step!" into "Full blown elementary school!" and Kindergarten. As a grandma i can't believe how fast he is growing up. He will be 5! March 15, 2010. WOW~ ! where has the time gone?

In any case we went to go and take pictures and spend time with little dakota before he went to school. He is in the afternoon class!

Day Before Dakota Starts School Fun...

This is Heidi... But, as this is "Mom's"! "Grandma's Corner!" Blog! I am writing because pictures do not post correctly when we are signed in on her email address username. So here i am!

Dakota starts school tomorrow yes, his 2nd and last year of preschool. Next Fall he will be starting Kindergarten. He turns 5 this coming March- March 2010.
Anyhow he starts school tomorrow and so today was kind of open house activity and the kids and families got to go meet the teachers and the kids got to play, have snacks, and have fun.

We all had fun just being there with him and seeing his classroom and teacher(s).
Kayla had fun and "got into the playing and fun!" as well.

Spaghetti Night- and A BYU GAME...

Saturday Night Jared, Lindsay, Ashlee and Kayla came over to watch the BYU game against Oklahoma- and Yes, Dakota was missing again! he was at his mom's! anyhow we also had Spaghetti for dinner. Sorry no pictures of the spaghetti. Oh Well! Here are some pictures of the little darlings - Kayla and Ashlee. Kayla was grandma's big helper!

LABOR DAY AND GRANDKIDS AND FUN...

Today i spent time with 2 of my 3 grandchildren. Little Dakota was at his mom's for the weekend. But, i got to see my 2 little princesses (grand-daughter's) Kayla and Ashlee- and their parents (my son and daughter in law) Jared and Lindsay. Also Eric (my husband) and Heidi (my daughter) was there as well. We met up at Fashion Place mall for Free Chicken Sandwich day at Chick Fil A - all you had to do is wear your favorite sports team shirt or jersey! and then we also went to Orange Julius in the food court and got "OJ'S" (Orange Julius's) and used some coupons.
